The end is nigh (for 2009 that is)

Well, as we approach the end of 2009 and the noughties (or naughties depending on who you talk to), there is a lot of looking at the year and decade that was. To the relief of some I believe, I wont be going down that path. There are many better versed with the skill and tools to do that than I, and really this commentary is more interested in looking forward than backwards.

I would just like to take a brief moment to thank our clients and other supporters for this year. It has been a difficult time for all, and I think should we be lucky, may we have a much more ‘boring’ year in 2010 (as wished by RBA Governor Glen Stevens), we will actually be quite happy with that.

Rather than launch into my next long installment, I will instead simply wish you all a Merry Christams and a Happy New Year. You will be hearing from us again in the second half of January 2010, best wshes and stay safe until then.

Stephen
